Band Bio
Formed in Perth Western Australia in 2006, Legacy Of Supremacy is the musical legacy our powerful rock forefathers have left us. Inspired by the rock, metal and blues supremacy of the 70's and 80's, LOS plan to re-educate with a modern take on a classic sound. Founding members Jacob Kenny(Scar of Mind, Undecided) and Curtis Sucksmith(D-Rage) have supported the project since it's begining with fellow members Alex Arrigo and Carl Tolomei(Undecided). After launching LOS onto the perth music scene in early 2007 at the Newport in Fremantle Western Australia, the group began writing material to support a would be album in the future. Months after LOS began doing shows, Carl parted ways with the group and was replaced temporarily with a young bassist known as Lyndon. Shortly after this Alex also parted ways with the group to be replaced by a young and vibrant drummer Royce. As the year rolled on and after more shows with this lineup LOS prepared to take themselves into the studio to begin work on what would be the first single "Haze of Black and White". After a year spent in rehearsal and recording of demos, band morale began to drop and cracks appeared within relationships of LOS members. This eventually led to Curtis and Jacob parting ways with their rhythm section and holding only a demo of their work, they went on to find new members.
2008 was spent searching and trialing various musicians to fill the void that was left by the rotating door that had become LOS. It wasn't until 2009 when they had finally joined forces with a like minded bassist Daniel Janssen, with his help they breathed new life into LOS and the group started playing together again with the help of a few musical friends. By mid to late 2009, Curtis, Jacob and Dan aquired the help and skill of Phil McDonnald to begin work on "Haze of Black and White" and the proposed album. Still without a singer and Jacob not willing to feature on the project as he had done live, Phil featured as the guest vocalist for the January 2010 release of LOS's "Haze of Black and White" single. As work continued on with the album finally named "Midnight Till Dawn", drummer Trevor James joined LOS to complete the live rhythm section once again. LOS was still lacking a singer to feature both live and on "Midnight Till Dawn", after many attempts from many vocalists, the very gifted Alex Giles(Scare City), completed the lineup and pushed the project to it's end, Legacy Of Supremacy once again, reborn from a smoking barrel. The end of 2010 saw LOS return to the stage with a vibrant and more mature lineup, "Midnight Till Dawn" was finally completed and mastered at Bonsai Studios by sound guru Tom Thorpe. By 2011 LOS was back into the Perth live music scene and also featured as the headline act for "The New Sound 5.1" with other bands "Heavy Love" and "Tales From Space". LOS has also appeared in a string of shows with local metallers "Social Inertia" and various others. The future of LOS is filled with promise as this year they finally release the album that has been greatly anticipated by their following.
